Sweet Caroline

I remember it like it were yesterday, watching my mom get ready for work... observing every single blush stroke, pink and green mascara tube, huge pink powder puff, gold retractable lip brush... knowing full well that in just a couple of minutes as soon as the front door closes, I would be sitting on that vanity and it'll be my turn.

My mom has been retired for a while now and enjoying her later years living in California (as close as she's gonna get to Philippines weather I'm afraid). This outfit reminds me of her, it's definitely reminiscent of an outfit that she would've worn to work back in the late 70s early 80s. Although I think she'd argue that the shoes are a wee too low - the woman didn't believe in comfort like I do.
