Although I'm sorta jealous... I grew up in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when I was about 6. My mother obviously didn't get the tooth fairy memo. I remember putting my tooth under my pillow (kids from school got me all excited about the fairy) and waking up the next day - destroyed by the fact that the tooth fairy wanted nothing to do with my tooth! Phew, thank goodness the Santa Clause memo safely arrived in time for my first American Christmas!!
