I can't believe it's here already... it's SHOP LIVE time!!! Thank you again to ETSY (thanks Danielle!) for inviting me to host for the second time - I'm so excited and cannot wait to shop, ooops, I mean share the incredible deals that will be on offer this Thursday, 7pm ET.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

When & Where? This Thursday, 7pm eastern standard time @ Etsy Virtual Labs. You must be a registered Etsy user, so please make sure you have a username and password.

What is it? If you're not familiar with Shop Live here's how it works. For 30 minutes I'll be talking about a collection of curated products on Etsy via a live Web cam and buyers will have the ability to enter a "virtual auditorium" to watch the broadcast . I've also been in cahoots with all of the artists I'm featuring and together we've come up with a special listing/item specially priced just for this live sale event. Each minute, I feature one of the items via webcam, I break into a little So You Think You Can Dance routine and as I talk about each product, users in the auditorium will see a product image and will have the ability to click and buy in real time. It's a really innovative format and I'm thrilled to be hosting again! OK, so I don't actually bust out in a lyrical hip-hop dance - but I promise you'll have fun!


How do I purchase the featured items? Whether you're an Etsy-virgin or just need a refresher, here's a really easy to follow step-by-step guide on how to purchase items.

I already know how to do that! How do I get the discount? During the event, I will be giving out promocodes (e.g. "hearthandmade") to be used in order to receive the special discount. Unless noted otherwise, you will need to purchase the items at regular price. During "Step 4" of the check out process, type in the promocode that you hear during the event into the "notes to seller" box. Once you've completed the transaction (paid full price), you will receive a refund from the seller in the amount of the discount via paypal.

Oh no, I won't make it home in time! No worries - a handful of the participants are also having ALL-DAY SALES on Thursday in celebration of Shop Live! I'll be posting all of the All-Day Sales info first thing Thursday morning.
