Shop + Tell: Lisa

Who:
Lisa Zuraw of Sweetbeets {eco-friendly letterpress cards that celebrate the magic of childhood} and ModEco Kids {children's design blog}
How often do you indie-shop?
I don't really consider myself as a big shopper, so I kind of surprised myself when I tallied up what else I've bought in the past five months from indie designers: handmade soap and wooden toys, handmade grocery totes, crocheted dish cloths and two necklaces for myself.
Scores...a Matte porcelain jar with vintage lace by Nesting Emily
(flickr photostream)
How does it make you feel?
happy, inspired, calm and completely smitten

What made you buy it?
When I first saw this jar I thought 'this is so me'. I love the pure simplicity of the raw matte porcelain combined with the delicate vintage lace stitched on the lid and the beautiful green crackled glass on the inside. This jar represents what I'd love my home to look like - minimalist with lots of white contrasted with splashes of vibrant green - and I bought it for inspiration and as a statement of my personal style (or the style I aspire to have!).
