Charmed, I'm Sure

What is it about charms?
Remember the colorful plastic clip on charms from the 80s and early 90s? I had LOADS of them, along with a stack of garbage pail kids cards - two things I never left home without! Twenty years later, I still find myself going ga-ga for charms...

Ooooh, I love these! I'm such a sucker for charms, too. Did you have those big plastic chains with all the different charms on them? Whistles and compasses and hearts and all sorts of crazy plastic crap in different colors?

And Garbage Pail Kids! Oh, man, my friend and I used to bike 10 miles round trip to buy them. Those were the days... :)

Oh I used to just love Garbage Pail Kids! Somehow I must have missed the charms, though. These are really lovely charms. I love their simplicity.

Childhood whimsy! Now I want to go find my charm bracelet and put them on a chain big enough for an adult wrist. Love!
