Craft 101: Fabric & Felt Scraps

Here's an idea...
I'm sure tons of you have loads of fabric scraps - way too tiny to use for something else but somehow you managed to convince yourself to save it. Sound familiar??

Cut up little triangles - they don't have to be perfect angles either! And forget the piping that's usually required and just sew the triangles together, just keep your foot on the peddle and leave a 1-second gap between each one.

I decided to layer felt with patterned fabric pieces but you could just use felt too (Susan, I'm sure you have a ton of felt!) I tried to use the thickest thread that I could find too.

It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. I didn't worry too much about it being perfect either!

That's a great idea! I am so tired of seeing fabric scraps thrown out. I believe that there is a use for everything! :)

I love the baby bunting.
Thanks for the cute idea.
I am going to use up my bag of precious vintage chenille little bits that I can't bring myself to throw out.
