Confessions of a Soapaholic

To make a long story short(ish) - I met RJ of Bailey Doesn't Bark in person about a month ago and I was so amazed by her soap (and other beauty products) obsession that I invited her to be the bath/beauty editor here on Heart Handmade. I've never met anyone so passionately addicted to soaps, creams, salves, shampoo, lip balms. And since I've been meaning to focus more on these types of products, it was a no brainer! So every other week, RJ will be sharing her latest fixation! Please give a warm welcome to RJ...

Hello, my name is RJ and I have been soap free for 30 seconds...

I am very happy and honored to be here at Heart Handmade, sharing with you my ultimate favorite bath+body products! I am not an expert, I simply love to experiment with the most appealing, delicious, sensual bath+body products out there and I'm excited to share my experience, thoughts and opinions with you.

I am addicted to {SAVOR}s hand crafted soaps: www.savor.etsy.com

Savor soaps
are fantastic. A blend of fine cuisine and first class spa. Lisa, the amazing creator and crafter, applies her passion for cooking to her soap recipes. The results are like I said: perfection. Generous amounts of moisturizing lather and subtle - just enough scent that lingers on your skin and senses... The scents are quite exquisite and unusual, making her soaps so deliciously tempting.

I must warn you: You - will - want - to - eat - the - soap.

I have several favorites, but I'll share my very first Savor soap: Black Mission Fig
In Lisa's words: "The fruity, fresh scent of Mission figs takes on a whole new twist, blended with aqua sea salt." The scent is gentle, fresh and delightfully appealing.

Are you tempted?

Handmade soap is so lovely. I can't remember the last bar of commercial soap I bought. Why go that route when there are so many delicious handcrafted bars to choose from?

Hi RJ !!
Welcome! I am so happy to see you here on the lovely Heart Handmade! I am a complete and utter Savor convert because of....you! I purchased one of her scrubs(Creme Fraiche) and it is divine! You can use it on your body or your face and it is creamy, yummy smelling and has made my skin feel so clean and fresh! (now I sound like a commercial, sorry!) Can't wait for your next post RJ! I am listening...
